Success in this role requires strong analytical judgment, project management excellence, clear cross-functional communication, and the ability to translate strategy into high-impact execution.

What you will do

Strategic RCM Project & Reporting

  • Partner with RCM leadership to monitor performance trends, identify revenue cycle opportunities, and support strategic project planning to improve payer-related outcomes.

  • Support payer contracting activities, including onboarding clinical network agreements and participating in operational readiness planning.
  • Assist with implementation of payer contracts for strategic employer clients (i.e. Client Specific Networks), ensuring workflows, data needs, and stakeholder expectations are clearly defined and executed.
  • Track contract deliverables, performance obligations, and operational impacts to downstream functions (e.g., RCM, Clinical Ops, Provider Operations).

Strategic Payer Partnership Program Management

  • Act as program manager for strategic payer partnership initiatives, driving implementation planning, execution tracking, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Define program success metrics, identify gaps between goals and performance, and coordinate cross-functional remediation plans.
  • Ensure key stakeholders are aligned, informed, and engaged through structured communications (status, risks, escalations, outcomes).
  • Support business reviews, payer performance discussions, and continuous improvement cycles with defined action plans.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Excellence

  • Partner with Ops, GTM / Health Plan Partnership, Product, Data, Finance, and Clinical teams to align on requirements and execute strategic programs that improve payer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Document and optimize operational processes, SOPs, and communications to drive consistent and scalable workflows.
  • Support organizational readiness for system changes, program launches, and iterative improvements by providing training, documentation, and feedback loops.

What success looks like

  • RCM performance reporting and insights are timely, accurate, and actionable, enabling better strategic decisions.
  • Payer contracts are operationalized smoothly and consistently, with clear handoffs and minimal disruption to core workflows.
  • Strategic payer partnership programs are delivered on time, with gaps identified early and remediation plans tracking to measurable outcomes.
  • Cross-functional partners view Payer Operations as a trusted partner that drives clarity, execution follow-through, and operational improvements.

What you will bring

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, payer relations, revenue cycle, or related functions; healthcare consulting experience highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfort working with data and communicating insights to varied audiences.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of driving complex initiatives to completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, think strategically, and execute with precision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional influence.
  • Experience engaging with payers, health plans, provider relations, or contract implementation is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with RCM performance dashboards and analytic tools (e.g., Looker, BI platforms).

Further, while employees of Headspace (formerly Ginger) cannot access Headspace products/services, they will be offered benefits according to the company's benefit plan. To ensure we are adhering to best practice and ethical guidelines in the field of mental health, we take care to avoid dual relationships. Further, if Headspace cannot find a role that fails to resolve an ethical issue associated with a dual relationship, Headspace may need to take steps to ensure ethical obligations are being adhered to, including a delayed start date or a potential leave of absence. Such steps would be taken to protect both the former member, as well as any relevant individuals from their care team, from impairment, risk of exploitation, or harm.

US Custom Demographic Survey

In our company-wide effort to continue to prioritize diversity and inclusion, we invite candidates to respond to both the EEOC Voluntary Self-Identification survey as well as a custom self-identification survey as a part of the application process. The EEOC survey helps us remain compliant with government reporting requirements (full information and instructions below). We have also created custom self-identification demographic questions to expand upon specific categories, offering more inclusive options that more accurately reflect the diverse global workforce. While this survey is a required section of our application, your level of disclosure is completely voluntary. Participating also includes selecting “I don’t wish to answer” as your choice for any of the categories. This data helps us to better understand how our DEIB efforts are tracking across various measures. Aggregated personal data will be reported on and shared with the necessary stakeholders as needed.  This data will be scrubbed of all possible identifying information, is maintained in a confidential file and will not be considered in the hiring process.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

How do you know if you have a disability?

  • Alcohol or other substance use disorder (not currently using drugs illegally)
