Digital Marketing Intern (AI & Chat) - Summer 2025

Are you curious about how Artificial Intelligence, digital marketing, and user experience come together? Do you enjoy analyzing data, optimizing workflows, and experimenting with new technologies? If so, this internship provides the opportunity to work on AI-driven projects that improve website performance, chatbot experiences, and marketing automation.

Internship Opportunities:

1. AI Website Intern

Work on projects that enhance website performance through AI innovation, experimentation, and data analysis by leveraging emerging technologies to optimize user experiences and drive internal efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify AI-driven opportunities to enhance website processes and user experiences.
  • Design and launch A/B tests and experiments to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creative, Web Strategy, Marketing Tech, and Inbound Success).
  • Assist in managing projects from planning to execution, including analyzing data and reporting on findings.
  • Stay up to date on the latest AI trends and emerging marketing technologies.
Desired Skills:
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence and digital marketing.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset—comfortable working with data in Google Sheets or Excel.
  • Ability to design, execute, and report on experiments.
  • Passion for user experience and website optimization.
  • Organizational skills to track, analyze, and present insights.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Familiarity with website management, conversion rate optimization, and HubSpot.
  • Experience using Looker, Amplitude, or similar reporting tools.

 

2. Conversational Marketing Intern

Focus on improving chatbot and live chat experiences by analyzing conversational data and identifying new opportunities for AI-driven optimizations.

Responsibilities:
  • Optimize and improve chatbot and live chat experiences on the website.
  • Experiment with AI-driven chat features to enhance customer interactions.
  • Work with the HubSpot conversations tool to design and implement chat improvements.
  • Analyze and report on chatbot engagement, user behavior, and conversion data.
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to develop a global conversational marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with live chat agents to strike the right balance between automation and human interaction.
Desired Skills:
  • Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Conversational Marketing.
  • Analytical mindset—experience with Google Sheets, Excel, and data-driven insights.
  • Interest in experiment design, A/B testing, and reporting.
  • Passion for user experience and chat-based customer interactions.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to enhance chatbot messaging.
  • Organizational skills to track, analyze, and optimize chatbot strategies.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Familiarity with live chat, chatbots, and AI-driven automation.
  • Experience using HubSpot for conversational marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with Looker, Amplitude, or similar reporting tools.

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an educational program through December 2025.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from June-Mid-August 2025.

Cash compensation range: 25 USD Hourly

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
