Your Role
We’re looking for a Sr. Strategic Partnerships Manager to lead our sales relationships with state associations and third-party businesses. In this senior role, you'll be a key player on the team responsible for our most critical business unit relationships.
In this role, your priorities will be to:
- Design a data-driven roadmap. Your priorities will be to guide top-line revenue growth, margin and industry innovation.
- Support partnerships. You'll manage and deepen existing high-level partnerships as you carry out the long-term strategic vision that will propel their evolution.
- Be the subject matter expert. You’ll be in tune with the youth and high school sports market.
- Own the entire lifecycle. By managing a portfolio of key partners through their lifecycle, you’ll identify opportunities and ensure mutual success.
Our priority is to hire someone for this role who lives near our office in Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska.
Must-Haves
- Experience. You’ve spent 15-20+ years in partnership sales, relationship management or a similar role working with high school associations in the U.S.
- Partnership expertise. You have a proven track record in business development with deep knowledge of contract development, negotiation and go-to-market strategies.
- A strategic mindset. You have experience developing and implementing successful long-term business plans and strategies. You know how to use data to make better decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills. You're a persuasive communicator—you excel at building a broad network of relationships.
Nice-to-Haves
- A strong network. Knowing many members of the high school associations would be an asset.
- Previous Hudl usage. If you’ve used Hudl products like league exchange, livestreaming or ticketing, or at least know how they work, that’d be an asset in this role.
- Top-notch presentation skills. If you’re able to easily tell a story through your presentations, we want to hear about it.
- Organizational skills. A detail oriented approach would work well in this role.
Our Role
- Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
- Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
- Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
- Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
- Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
- Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
