Your Role

As the Sr. Marketing Manager, American Football, you’ll be the lead owner, strategist, and voice for our marketing efforts across the entire football ecosystem in North America—from Friday Night Lights and powerhouse collegiate programs to youth leagues and professional organizations. This role requires an authentic, deep-rooted passion for American football and a constant drive to master the nuances of the industry.

Your core responsibility is to generate demand for our football products—including our automated cameras, video analysis tools, and recruiting platforms—by building trust, loyalty, and community within the coaching. This is a unique opportunity to combine your marketing mastery with your deep knowledge of the "X’s and O’s" to drive significant, sustainable growth in our most prominent market.

Specifically, you will:

  • Own & Lead Marketing Strategy: Define and lead multi-channel, full-lifecycle marketing campaigns to increase demand, drive revenue, and position our company as the top technology partner for capture, performance analysis, and recruiting.
  • Drive Brand Growth: Define, own, and execute a complete content roadmap to grow our brand. You will lead the build of a roadmap that not only inspires and educates coaches and athletes but directly drives conversion and sales.
  • Creative Campaign Development & Channel Strategy: Serve as the internal authority on the American Football audience, identifying the specific high-impact channels where coaches live. You will lead the development of creative, needle-moving campaigns and partner closely with our Demand and Channel teams to ensure our most impactful content is positioned to win across the North American market.
  • Foster Community-Driven Advocacy: Drive measurable growth through authentic, community-focused efforts. You will foster loyalty and encourage user-generated content, turning customers into active advocates for our technology.
  • Leverage Tech for Personalized Scale: Champion the use of AI to enhance content creation, segmentation, personalized outreach, and workflow efficiency, ensuring we operate at the cutting edge of sports marketing technology.
  • Own Results & Cross-Functional Alignment: Operate as a data-informed leader by continuously evaluating performance, optimizing outcomes, and reporting progress. Work closely with Product, Sales, and Brand teams to ensure alignment from product release to market execution.

This role requires three days at our Lincoln, Nebraska headquarters per week. We are currently considering candidates who live within commuting distance.

Must-Haves

  • Football Industry Expertise: Deep passion for American football and a comprehensive understanding of the North American ecosystem—from the NFL and NCAA down to high school and youth grassroots teams.
  • The "X's and O's": You don't just watch the game; you understand it. You have a full grasp of football schemes, terminology, and the specific needs of a coaching staff.
  • Strategic Marketing Mastery: 5–8 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, or an adjacent commercial role with a proven track record of building brand trust and driving revenue.
  • Analytical and Creative Balance: Your decisions are rooted in data—whether analyzing sales pipelines or campaign performance—but you know exactly how to weave that data into a compelling, creative narrative.
  • Strategic Communicator & Stakeholder Lead: You have the unique ability to translate complex football insights and technical product features into authentic "coach-speak" that resonates with the football community. Beyond the marketing message, you are a master of internal alignment, you can navigate a matrixed organization, manage expectations across multiple high-level stakeholders, and unify diverse teams around a single, cohesive winning strategy.
  • B2B SaaS Experience: A background in software-as-a-service, including experience with modern go-to-market approaches and business drivers.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Sports Tech Knowledge: Prior experience with video analysis software, recruiting platforms (like Hudl or similar), or sports camera technology.
  • Growth Mindset: You are constantly looking for ways to improve and adapt. You are comfortable running tests, experimenting with new channels, and using results to iterate.
  • Ruthless Prioritization: The ability to juggle multiple projects at different stages, focusing on high-impact work while balancing long-term strategy with quick-turn execution.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
  • Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
  • Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
  • Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
