Hudson Rouge is seeking an Account Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated, strategically-minded, and leadership-driven Account Supervisor to join our growing team. This role is crucial for leading the strategic direction and overseeing the delivery of integrated, audience-centric marketing solutions across critical digital touchpoints: .com experiences, sophisticated email campaigns, and high-performing online advertising.

The ideal candidate will be a client advocate, a team leader, and an indispensable strategic partner, ensuring our multi-channel initiatives are not only flawlessly executed but also deeply rooted in audience insights and designed to drive measurable business outcomes. You'll work closely with internal strategy, creative, media, and tech teams, directly manage and mentor junior account staff, and partner with senior client stakeholders to deliver excellence within the WPP ecosystem.

What you’ll do:

Client Relationship Management & Strategic Advisory

  • Serve as a key strategic partner and escalation point for assigned clients, building strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Proactively understand client business objectives, challenges, and the broader market landscape to architect long-term brand strategies and identify high-value growth opportunities.
  • Lead high-stakes client meetings, presentations, and strategic workshops, effectively communicating complex strategies, progress, and business-shifting results.
  • Manage client expectations and oversee account governance to ensure clear, concise communication between clients and internal teams.

Multi-Channel Strategy & Oversight

  • Translate client briefs into actionable, audience-based marketing strategies across .com, email, and online advertising, ensuring strategic alignment across the client's broader business ecosystem.
  • Direct and guide the internal account team in the flawless execution of integrated campaigns, ensuring seamless integration and consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Collaborate with strategy teams to develop comprehensive audience segmentation, persona development, and customer journey mapping, challenging the status quo to drive innovative solutions.
  • Ensure all .com updates, email campaigns (lifecycle, promotional, triggered), and online advertising efforts (display, social, search, programmatic) align with high-level strategic goals.

Project & Team Leadership

  • Directly manage, mentor, and foster the professional development of Account Managers and Coordinators.
  • Coordinate and mobilize internal cross-functional teams (Creative, Media, Strategy, Analytics, Technology, UX) to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Monitor campaign performance, identify potential risks, and strategically guide the team to pivot and implement proactive solutions.
  • Establish and enforce quality control standards before client submission.

Performance Analysis & Strategic Optimization

  • Partner with analytics and media leads to track, analyze, and interpret campaign performance data across all channels, distilling complex data into executive-level narratives.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and present key learnings, optimizations, and future recommendations to client leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging data to refine audience targeting, content, and channel mix, continually proving the business value and ROI of the agency's work.

Financial Stewardship & Business Growth

  • Own and manage client portfolios and budgets effectively, ensuring account profitability, accurate financial forecasting, and healthy margin management.
  • Drive organic growth by proactively identifying, scoping, and pitching opportunities for client expansion, scope expansion, and new business within existing accounts.

What you'll need:

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 5–7+ years of experience in an Account Management or Account Supervisor role within a fast-paced agency environment (WPP network experience highly preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring, leading, and managing junior team members.
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex, multi-channel digital marketing initiatives with a focus on strategic integration.
  • Proven expertise with audience-based marketing, including segmentation, personalization, and customer journey optimization.
  • Hands-on and strategic experience with:
  • Digital .com projects: Content updates, UX/UI improvements, campaign landing pages, SEO/SEM awareness.
  • Email Marketing: CRM integration, automation, A/B testing, deliverability best practices, platform knowledge (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Online Advertising: Paid Social, Search (SEM), Display, Programmatic, understanding of ad platforms and performance metrics.

Skills

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to persuade and command a room of senior stakeholders.
  • High-level strategic thinking with a strong analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting data and deriving actionable business insights.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and unite cross-functional teams around a shared strategic vision.
  • Strong project management abilities, with the skill to delegate effectively while maintaining oversight of details.
  • Proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to thrive under pressure and guide others through change.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira), Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $60,000 - $140,000 USD
