Systems Administrator
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our organization’s systems to ensure peak performance and reliability. You’ll work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and uphold security protocols. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and passionate about keeping systems running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do
- Administer and respond to support channels (Help Desk, email, Slack) and reply to user requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure optimal performance and security of company systems.
- Provide your expert technical guidance and support for the development or troubleshooting of existing systems.
- Assist with the review and enforcement of IT policies and procedures, and proactive reporting and auditing of server and network access
- Contribute to the selection, prototyping, and implementation of 3rd party software and cloud-based services.
- Roll out new system solutions and integrations based on company initiatives.
- Ongoing support of internal IT infrastructure
- Documentation of standards and procedures
- Strong troubleshooting skills
Who do we expect from you?
- Experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management methodologies.
- Experience documenting system’s design specifications including installation instructions, troubleshooting, monitoring, and security requirements.
- Experience in SSO and SAML platforms and providers, preferably Okta
- Experience administering Google Workspace
- Experience administering platforms such Slack, Cato, Kandji, and Kaseya is a plus.
- Good interpersonal, analytical, multi-tasking, organizing and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of standard security methodologies
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously in a dynamic, changing environment
- Reliable and competent
- Familiarity with both Macs & PCs
