Vice President, Controller

United States

About Finance

The Finance team at Huge is the backbone of our global expansion. We operate at the intersection of high-end design and technology, providing the fiscal infrastructure that allows our teams to innovate. As we enter a high-growth phase focused on market expansion, we are seeking a category-leading
Vice President, Global Controller to instill rigor and "audit-ready" precision across our global operations.

The Role

As a Vice President, Controller, you are a technically elite professional who thrives in high-stakes environments. A leader who balances the strategic mindset of a growth partner with the uncompromising discipline of a master accountant. You are as comfortable discussing a multi-million dollar merger as you are documenting the technical nuances of revenue recognition.

What You’ll Do

Reporting & Financial Governance

  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, delivering high-fidelity financial statements and management reporting that provide the CFO with actionable insights.
  • Manage the complexity of our global footprint, ensuring compliance across multiple international jurisdictions and tax regimes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring "audit-ready" status at all times.

Fiscal Rigor & Technical Accounting

  • Act as an authority on complex technical accounting issues, ensuring total compliance with
    US GAAP.
  • Own and tighten the monthly and year-end close process, reducing "days to close" while increasing the precision of every line item on the P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Internal Control Architecture: Design and enforce a robust internal control environment that is appropriate for a privately held global business.
  • Tax & Regulatory Oversight: Coordinate global tax compliance, statutory reporting, and transfer pricing, ensuring the "beans are counted" correctly in every jurisdiction where we operate.

Global Entity & Statutory Oversight

  • International Footprint: Direct the financial operations for all international legal entities, ensuring seamless reporting and compliance across diverse regulatory environments. Current ones are in Canada, Colombia, the United Kingdom and India.
  • Multi-Currency Consolidations: Lead complex global consolidations, including intercompany eliminations.
  • Transfer Pricing & Tax: Partner with external advisors to manage global transfer pricing strategies and ensure local tax compliance (VAT, GST, etc.) in every jurisdiction where Huge operates.
  • Statutory Compliance: Oversee the preparation and filing of local statutory financial statements, ensuring alignment between local books and US GAAP reporting.

M&A Integration

  • Lead the financial integration of newly acquired entities, ensuring seamless transition into Huge accounting standards, reporting structures, and NetSuite ecosystem.

Leadership & Advisory

  • CFO Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO, providing high-fidelity financial reporting and management data that drive actionable business decisions.
  • Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor a high-performing global accounting team, fostering a culture of "giving a shit" about precision, transparency, and accountability.

What We’d Like to See

  • 10 to15 years of leadership experience: A proven track record in senior accounting roles, specifically within Private Equity or high-growth global technology environments.
  • NetSuite Mastery (REQUIRED): In-depth, hands-on experience architecting and managing NetSuite for a global, multi-entity organization. You should be an expert in NetSuite’s multi-currency (OneWorld) functionality and automated consolidation tools.
  • Global Financial Expertise: Experience managing international entities, including a sophisticated understanding of Foreign Exchange (FX) accounting, intercompany eliminations, and transfer pricing mechanics.
  • M&A Track Record: Direct experience in post-merger integration (PMI) of both domestic and international acquisitions.
  • Technical Excellence & Big 4 Foundations: CPA is non-negotiable; Big 4 background is highly desired. You possess masterful knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, ensuring compliance across varied international reporting standards.
  • Category Thought Leadership: You don't just follow the rules; you stay ahead of global accounting trends, automation tools, and international regulatory changes.
  • The PE Mindset: You thrive in a high-pressure environment characterized by "time-boxed" goals, data-driven accountability, and the rapid pace of a private equity-backed organization.
  • Strategic Communication: Superior presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex global financial narratives for non-financial stakeholders and speak with total candor to the executive team.
  • Uncompromising Precision: You live in the details. You recognize that the health of a global system is found in the pennies, and you possess a natural inclination toward surgical accuracy.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
