The Role
Huge is looking for a Software Engineer to work on the development of high-performance enterprise experiences. Do you have a deep grounding in modern Salesforce.com application engineering? We’re looking for someone with serious Salesforce.com chops who loves building large-scale projects and has exposure to an ever-changing set of clients and technologies. You will be a key contributor to our technical teams, helping to bridge the gap between world-class user interfaces and robust enterprise backends.
What You’ll Be Doing
Join an engineering team that has deep experience delivering world-class custom software solutions for Fortune 500 companies. As a Software Engineer at Huge, you will:

Build & Innovate: Develop advanced, dynamic Salesforce applications tailored to specific customer requirements and large-scale digital ecosystems.

Collaborate across Crafts: Partner with our internal teams to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot accessible, W3C-compliant, data-driven Salesforce applications.

Systems Integration: Integrate Salesforce solutions with existing client systems, web services, and third-party APIs to ensure a seamless data flow.

Apply Best Practices: Drive excellence through programming "best practices," including specification design/review, object-oriented development, and thorough documentation.

Agile Execution: Thrive in an agile, rapid development, and prototyping environment, providing feedback to design and other departments to clarify technical requirements.

Problem Solve: Diagnose and solve complex technical issues related to the entire web application, prioritizing performance, stability, and security.

Lead & Estimate: Take the lead on specific project workstreams and contribute valuable technical estimates for upcoming development endeavors.

Continuous Learning: Enhance your existing skills while proactively learning new technologies used by our global clients.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate closely with the QA team on the design and implementation of test plans, resolving issues to ensure top-tier software quality.

Client Engagement: Clearly communicate technical details and requirements in client meetings, leading project demos and working on post-launch enhancements.

Mentorship: Act as a guide for junior team members with an unpretentious attitude, fostering a culture of growth.

Global Collaboration: Work seamlessly with distributed teams across multiple geographic locations, including nearshore and offshore hubs.
What we’d like to see
We’re looking for someone with serious Salesforce.com chops who loves building large scale projects and have exposure to an ever changing set of clients and technologies. You’ll also need to have:
- Experience building Apex classes and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Hands-on experience using DevOp tools such as Copado to systematically promote code through environments (nice to have)
- Required Skills: Apex,LWC,JavaScript
- Required Cloud Experience: Sales, Experience, B2B Commerce (nice to have)
- At least 2 years of professional Salesforce development experience.
- Experience working within a collaborative, cross-functional agency environment, particularly with QA analysts, UX and Visual designers, and business analysts is a plus
- Experience working within a fast-paced, iterative development environment
- Comfortable balancing priorities and deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously
- A B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience and certification (nice to have)
