As we continue expanding our digital product and experience capabilities, we are looking for a Senior UI Engineer with strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise to help build high-quality, scalable digital experiences across web platforms.

The Role

Huge is looking for a Senior UI Engineer with deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks, and scalable web architectures. In this role, you will be responsible for developing performant and accessible digital experiences while collaborating closely with designers, product teams, QA analysts, and backend engineers. You will work within a fast-paced, iterative environment where quality, performance, and usability are critical. You will help build and maintain modern web applications, integrate with APIs, and contribute to evolving frontend architecture and development workflows.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Build high-quality, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Develop responsive and accessible interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Integrate applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with UX designers, visual designers, QA analysts, and business analysts to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
• Anticipate technical challenges and proactively propose solutions.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and accessibility compliance (ADA).
• Participate in debugging, testing, and continuous improvement of frontend codebases.
• Write unit tests for JavaScript code and contribute to improving code quality.
• Work with modern build tools and workflows to optimize development processes.

What We’d Like to See

• 4+ years of experience working as a Senior UI Engineer.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• At least 2 years working in a digital agency or similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience building applications that consume REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Working knowledge of Sass or other CSS preprocessors.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
• Experience with browser testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of SEO/SEM best practices.
• Experience building accessible (ADA-compliant) interfaces.
• Experience writing unit tests for JavaScript code.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+ to C1).

 Nice to Have

• Experience with Java, PHP, ASP, or C#/ASP.NET.
• Familiarity with AI / Generative AI technologies.
• Experience working with headless CMS platforms.
• Exposure to WebGL or XR technologies.
• Experience working within modern development workflows and CI/CD environments.
