The Role

Human Agency is seeking a Chief of Staff, AI & Strategic Initiatives to serve as a strategic force multiplier to the Founder and executive team. This role is designed for a highly resourceful, adaptable, and technically adept leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. You will drive execution across AI-driven initiatives, identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, and ensure operational excellence across the organization.

This is not a passive support role—it is a thought partner position that requires a bias for action, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI, enterprise technology, and business strategy, with a proven ability to drive high-impact projects from inception to execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Acceleration

  • Act as an extension of the Founder, driving strategic priorities and ensuring high-impact execution across the company’s AI Solutions practice.
  • Identify new opportunities for AI-driven solutions, partnerships, and business development, bringing a structured, data-driven approach to assessing market opportunities.
  • Develop and implement frameworks for scalable growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
  • Translate high-level objectives into concrete action plans, ensuring alignment across leadership and execution teams.

Execution & AI Solutions Delivery

  • Lead high-priority AI-focused initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of AI capabilities into client engagements and internal operations.
  • Act as a bridge between AI, business strategy, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered with technical rigor and business impact.
  • Manage multiple ad hoc technical and strategic projects, balancing execution speed with high-quality outcomes.

C-Suite & Operational Oversight

  • Manage up—be the wrangler of the Founder and C-suite, ensuring execution at the highest levels of performance.
  • Own and oversee executive-level operations, including scheduling, travel, investor relations, and board communications.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between AI, sales, product, and operations teams to streamline execution.
  • Optimize executive workflows, leveraging AI and automation to enhance productivity and decision-making.
  • Empower the Founder maximize their own superpowers, by being a force multiplier to their strengths.

Technical & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct deep-dive research on AI industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging technologies, distilling insights for leadership.
  • Monitor the AI regulatory landscape and ethical considerations, ensuring compliance and forward-thinking strategies.
  • Lead strategic partnerships and vendor evaluations for AI-driven tools and enterprise solutions.

Process & Performance Optimization

  • Identify inefficiencies and build scalable, tech-enabled solutions to improve operational velocity and team productivity.
  • Implement best practices for AI adoption, strategic planning, and process automation.
  • Develop executive dashboards and KPIs to track progress on strategic initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a strategic, operational, or business development role (consulting, AI, technology, venture-backed startups, or enterprise solutions preferred).
  • Experience driving AI Solutions, product development, strategy, or enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proven track record of leading high-impact projects, driving revenue, and working directly with executives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a high level of technical fluency.

Bonus: Background in AI, ML, product management, consulting, or enterprise SaaS.

Additional Considerations

  • Travel: 10-30% based on strategic priorities.
  • Location: Remote-friendly with preference for candidates in major tech hubs.
