Senior Product Manager
Senior Product Manager
Human Intelligence · Remote · Full-Time
Compensation: $185K – $200K + Equity
Job Overview
As a Senior Product Manager at Human Intelligence, you'll own major initiatives from strategy through execution, working across Engineering, Design, Data, and Leadership to solve complex problems for people, data and analytics leaders and ship features that drive real impact.
We're looking for someone who combines strong product instincts and is excited to help build a category-defining platform at the intersection of people, data and AI.
About Human Intelligence
Human Intelligence is a people-data platform. We empower leading enterprises with AI-ready people data. We work with clients such as Notion, Brex, Sierra and more to unify their people data across Workday, Lattice, Greenhouse & more with governance, policy management, audit logging, & row‑level security built in.
The data warehouse was built for a single job: to house enterprise data for an era where humans consumed it — in dashboards, reports, and analytics. That era is ending. AI demands more than a place where data sits. It demands data that is governed, contextual, joined, and ready to be reasoned over the moment it's queried. Today, closing that gap takes armies of data engineers stitching pipelines from the warehouse to the model. We think that work shouldn't exist.
We're building a new category of data platform — one that abstracts away the complexity of making enterprise data AI-ready, so the model can consume it as safely and intelligently as a person once read a dashboard.
We're starting in people data, deliberately. It's the most sensitive data in the company, the most tightly governed, and the hardest to get right: compliance obligations, row-level access, metric definitions that have to stay consistent, and joins across systems that were never designed to talk to each other.
The companies defining the AI-native era are already building on us — including Notion, Sierra, and Brex. We're backed by Caffeinated Capital, BoxGroup, Weekend Fund, Bungalow Capital and Nebular. We are a lean high-ownership team shipping fast. If you want to define a category at the intersection of AI and enterprise data — in a space where the infrastructure genuinely doesn't exist yet — this is the place to do it.
What You'll Do
We're looking for a senior, deeply analytical, high-agency product manager. This is a hands-on role at an early stage company. You'll own real problems end to end.
Product Roadmap
- Define and articulate a clear product vision aligned to customer needs and company strategy, and earn buy-in from engineers, designers, and executives
- Prioritize ruthlessly across competing demands, using customer signals, usage data, and business context to decide what's worth building and what isn't
- Dig into the data yourself — pull usage numbers, build the analysis, and let evidence settle debates instead of opinions
- Track market trends and competitive moves to spot where Human Intelligence can build durable differentiation
Customer Engagement
- Be genuinely, consistently customer-facing, day in and day out. Lead discovery calls, onboarding sessions, and account reviews to understand what customers actually need
- Build trusted relationships with HR, People Analytics, and Data leaders at our key accounts
- Translate messy customer feedback into clear, actionable product requirements
- Partner with Sales and Leadership to support deal cycles, and make sure the features customers adopt are driving real, measurable value
Engineering & Design Partnership
- Work closely with Engineering to define requirements, write clear specs, and clear blockers fast
- Partner with Design to make the product genuinely good to use — solving problems elegantly, not just technically
- Define the metrics that tell you whether what you shipped actually worked, and hold the team to them
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Be the connective tissue between Engineering, Design, Sales, and Leadership, keeping everyone working from the same understanding of what we're building and why
- Contribute to go-to-market strategy for new features alongside Sales and Marketing
- Bring a data-driven point of view to the table — back your calls with evidence, and help the whole team get sharper about measuring what matters
What You Have
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior individual contributor PM role.
- Experience at a venture-backed startup between Series B and Series E, you know what it means to build with urgency, limited resources, and high accountability.
- Strong customer orientation, you're comfortable leading discovery calls, synthesizing feedback, and using what you learn to drive decisions.
- Experience partnering closely with Engineering (including on technical requirements and architecture tradeoffs) and Design.
- Data-driven mindset: you define success metrics upfront and use product analytics to inform prioritization and evaluate outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, you can adapt your message for a sprint planning meeting, a customer call, and a board slide
Bonus If You
- Have a background in computer science or software engineering.
- Familiarity with data infrastructure concepts: warehousing, ingestion pipelines, access control, APIs
- Experience with AI/ML products or building products that surface AI capabilities to end users
- Prior experience as an early PM at Series A to Series C company (first or second PM hire)
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, at Human Intelligence, you'll often be defining the process, not just following one
