This position is based on-site at our Denton, Texas fulfillment center.
About the Role
Hungryroot is looking for an Inbound Supervisor to join our growing Operations team. The Inbound Supervisor will manage and oversee warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The warehouse supervisor's responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation.
Responsibilities
- Be a hands on leader and actively engage your team
- Promote a safe work environment at all times
- Direct, guide, train, and coach warehouse staff
- Manage, evaluate and report on warehouse productivity
- Prepare work schedules and assign work as applicable
- Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
- Monitor orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
- Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare any necessary documentation
- Manage inbound inspection process for all deliveries
- Ensure basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Coordinate and maintain power equipment
- Communicate and partner with other departments and vendors
- Approve time in payroll system
Qualifications
- 5+ years of fulfillment experience
- 5+ year’s direct experience in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment
- Experience in an automated pick environment is a plus
- Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability
- Demonstrated experience with process improvements, KPI’s & financial results
- Food & Beverage facility experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience with WMS and/or ERP systems (such as NetSuite)
- Bachelors’ degree preferred/ HS Diploma/GED Required

Expected Pay Range:
$67,000 - $80,000
