Staff Full Stack Engineer

Its high-level vision is helping developers and security teams maintain visibility and control over their software supply chain security. Its platform includes an elegant user interface with complex integration points to enhance the identification and triage of cybersecurity incidents originating inside the software supply chain.

Full Stack Engineer: 

As a Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing the founding codebase for our product’s Go backend and React frontend. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and software delivery process.

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions and develop/shape the founding code base. 
  • Collaborate with the team architecting, coding, and optimizing our backend services, cloud infrastructure, platform integrations, frontend product experiences, and platform Admin management suite.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
  • Drive front end development utilizing your expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript
  • Ensure the security and scalability of backend systems, implementing best practices for data protection and access control. 
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues. 
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards. 
  • Communicate technical concepts and project updates effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in software development, with a significant portion in full stack roles.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity and/or software development tooling, with a strong understanding of developer workflows and the software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and organize development teams, including hiring, mentoring, and managing engineers.
  • Extensive experience as a hands-on coder, capable of building the founding codebase and documenting your expertise throughout the process with excellent technical direction.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as frameworks/libraries like React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with database design and optimization
  • Excellent familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with various continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data.

  • Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and to apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
