ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Human Resources Intern to join our team for the summer. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in HR practices, company culture, and administration. The HR Intern will assist in a variety of HR-related functions and will work closely with the HR team to support daily operations while actively contributing to company culture initiatives. 

Some of the responsibilities you can expect include the following:  

Administrative Support: 

• Assist with onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing new hire documents, coordinating orientation schedules, and assisting with training materials.
• Help maintain team member records and HR databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organized.
• Assist with recruitment processes such as reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and preparing interview materials.
• Support in data management; running personnel and system audits.
• Provide general administrative support such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and preparing internal communications. 

Company Culture and Employee Engagement: 

• Assist with the planning and coordination of team member engagement initiatives and events.
• Collaborate with HR team members to enhance and promote company culture programs and activities.
• Help develop and distribute internal communications related to company-wide initiatives and team member recognition.
• Participate in activities aimed at strengthening the workplace environment, fostering team spirit, and enhancing team member satisfaction. 

ABOUT YOU

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the HR field.
