Roles & Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities you should expect include:
- Lead all on-site construction activities from ground break through execution
- Direct and oversee daily field operations for assigned projects or work areas
- Own schedule execution, sequencing, and milestone delivery across multiple trades
- Develop and maintain short-interval plans and weekly look-ahead schedules in coordination with the Construction Manager
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain workflow continuity
- Oversee installation of critical infrastructure including underground utilities, power, and telecom systems
- Partner with engineering, design, and QA/QC teams to resolve field issues in real time
- Identify field conflicts, constructability issues, or potential delays and proactively communicate solutions to the Construction Manager
- Enforce strict safety standards, ensuring full OSHA compliance across all site operations
- Conduct daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-task planning sessions
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and established quality standards
- Manage daily reporting, including manpower, production tracking, safety observations, and site conditions
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress against schedule and key milestones
- Assist with project start-up, site logistics planning, and mobilization activities
- Ensure quality control, inspections, and successful system turnover for commissioning
- Collaborate with project teams to produce high-level bi-weekly progress reports
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and professionalism across all field personnel and subcontractors
- Drive accountability across crews to maintain pace, precision, and execution standards
About You
- Proven experience supervising large-scale commercial projects, data center related projects preferred
- Strong background in heavy civil, underground utilities, and MEP construction
- Experience working with General Contractors and coordinating across multi-tier project teams
- Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors on fast-paced job sites
- Deep understanding of CPM scheduling and production-driven execution
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams
- Experience with electrical distribution systems, including coordination of power infrastructure installation
- Hands-on leader with a strong track record of safety ownership and a zero- incident culture
- Comfortable operating in high-pressure, milestone-driven environments
- Detail-oriented with strong field problem-solving capabilities and technical awareness
- Experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure (power, fiber, telecom, etc.) preferred
