Accounting Specialist - Equipment Invoicing

Job overview
Will assist in the wholegoods equipment invoicing.
Responsibilities
- Create and send equipment invoices to customers.
- Audit data to ensure accuracy of the final bill.
- Correct billing errors by issuing debit and credit memos.
- Ensure customer information details are kept up to date.
- Guarantee sales tax is applied where applicable.
- Report issues or irregularities when encountered.
- Develop good working relationship with the sales department.
- Familiar with all business systems to efficiently research and resolve discrepancies and/or disputes timely and accurately.
- Support annual audit deliverables.
- Support management in the pursuit of corporate policies, plans, goals, and long-term objectives.
- Provide clerical support for settlement and accounting teams as needed.

- Participate in all business and/or department activities related to ensuring the customer experience is positive.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.

- Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.

Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- 2-3 years of business system or data entry experience is required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to communicate with others.
- Ability to make decisions.
- Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
- Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure.
- A keen interest in the financial system.
- Numeracy and a strong aptitude for mathematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Additional requirements
- General Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
