Shuttle Driver

Job overview
This individual will be operating a delivery vehicle to pick up and deliver parts and supplies to and from the store locations. They will also be delivering parts and supplies from the store to drop box locations and making farm deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Follow all instructions for pick up, transport and delivery of parts and supplies for the dealership or to/from customers of the dealership.
- Account for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties.
- Keep records of pickup and deliveries and obtain necessary signatures and receipts as requested by supervisors (and may be necessary to complete accounting documentation for sales).
- Maintain vehicle in a safe operating condition. Advise supervisor or manager of necessary repairs.
- Obtain appropriate permits pertaining to job duty.
- Support management in the pursuit of corporate policies, plans, goals, and long-term objectives.
- Foster a great place to work environment, encouraging accountability, open communication, teamwork, and a commitment to serving the customer.
- Participate in all business and/or department activities related to ensuring the customer experience is positive.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
- Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of Hutson Inc.
- Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Qualifications
- 0-2 years of delivery experience is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Excellent verbal communication.
- Ability to read maps and navigate the region you are delivering in efficiently.
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
- An ability to function well as part of a team.
- Diligent attention to detail.
- Diligent attention to safety.
- Knowledgeable about the parts you are delivering.
- Ability to answer questions and assist the customer with the parts if needed.
- Valid Driver's License required.
