Job overview
This role is responsible for thoroughly washing, detailing, and preparing equipment and components for delivery, ensuring a high standard of quality. The work must be performed safely, professionally, and efficiently to support the company’s commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and detail company and customer equipment, including tractors, mowers, and other agricultural and turf machinery, ensuring a high level of appearance and cleanliness.
- Prepare new and used equipment for customer delivery by performing thorough inspections and final touch-ups.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned to meet company standards before being showcased or delivered.
- Handle cleaning items and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay and detailing areas, including proper disposal of waste and used materials.
- Collaborate with departments to prioritize equipment for cleaning and delivery.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment for transport as needed.
- Operate detailing tools effectively and safely.
- Follow all dealership safety policies, wearing appropriate PPE and always ensuring a safe work environment.
- Present a professional and courteous image to customers, vendors, and team members.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in detailing and equipment handling.
- Support dealership events or showroom preparation by detailing display units as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, with flexibility to support other departments when needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Work independently with little or no supervision while functioning in a team environment
- Basic computer skills and internet functions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Self-Motivated and willing to take on new tasks.

- Safety Management.

Working Conditions
General Physical Requirements:
- Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, and Repetitive Motions.
Visual Acuity:
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (includes inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operating machines such as lathes, drill presses, power saws and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach; performing mechanical or skilled trade tasks of a non-repetitive nature.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
Working Conditions:
- The worker is subject to outside environmental conditions: No effective protection from weather.
- The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: Fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases or poor ventilation.
- The worker is subject to oils: There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
