MARKETING INTERN
The primary purpose of this position is to support and assist the Marketing team with marketing projects - primarily responsible for content creation, website updates, graphic design, communication, and related activities.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Compose or re-purpose content into usable pieces for sales tools, website, and email marketing. Including website landing pages, press releases, video script, brochures, etc.
- Create website landing page refreshes and designs; make routine updates
- Assist with product landing page updates and implementation; including product photography, technical descriptions, and applications.
- Assist in creating visual assets for digital and print media, including flyers, brochures, trade show banners, and web graphics; prepare and edit images using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Ensure all design work aligns with established brand guidelines to maintain a consistent visual identity across platforms.
- Design engaging graphics and content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
- Support post scheduling and publishing using tools like Hootsuite.
- Create, format, and enhance PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use to ensure clarity, consistency, visual appeal, and branding.
- Analyze and report website statistics
- Register and coordinate events; and assist with logistics
- Communicate with Hydrite Sales and employees of new campaigns and programs
- Work collaboratively with vendors and associations to renew memberships
- Pay marketing invoices and update related spreadsheets
- Perform misc administrative duties as requested by the Marketing Director or Marketing Manager.
- Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers
- Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.
- Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety and process training activities as required. Review changes/additions with your supervisor. Must be RCRA compliant.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
- This position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA
- Enrollment in accredited university in pursuit of Marketing, Digital Media, or Web Design & Development
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Must know Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
- Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
