Overview

Hyer Boots is building a roster of on-call Contract Event Staff to support at events throughout the year. This is a 1099 contractor role—ideal for individuals looking for flexible, project-based work. Contractors will be notified in advance of upcoming events and can opt in based on availability.

Events may include:

• Retail activations and trunk shows
• Trade shows and markets
• Rodeos and Western lifestyle events
• Private brand events

Responsibilities:

• Represent the Hyer Boots brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Support event setup, teardown, and on-site logistics
• Engage with customers, partners, and attendees to promote the brand
• Assist with merchandising, product display, and inventory management
• Process event sales and handle basic payment transactions (as needed)
• Provide on-site hospitality and help ensure a smooth event experience
• Maintain a clean and organized booth or event space
• Other event-related tasks as requested

Qualifications:

• Prior event, retail, hospitality, or brand ambassador experience preferred
• Comfortable engaging with the public in a friendly, professional manner
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Flexible schedule and willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed
• Strong interest in and familiarity with the Western lifestyle, rodeo culture, and Western footwear (required)

Compensation:

• Hourly rate or flat day rate, paid per event (terms outlined in contractor agreement)
• Travel expenses reimbursed when applicable
