We’re also home to Longdue, an independent narrative game studio incubated within HyperionDev. Longdue crafts psychologically rich, story-driven RPGs that challenge players to navigate complex moral worlds and deeply human stories. Inspired by games like Disco Elysium, Longdue is in the early stages of developing a bold new RPG IP, with a focus on world-building, narrative depth, and artistic innovation. While HyperionDev focuses on transforming education and careers through technology, Longdue carries the same mission-driven DNA into the world of games — storytelling with purpose and resonance.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development and success of a subset of our portfolio of B2B and B2C digital products that are central to our mission and user experience.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our product evolution and user experience. Your expertise will be essential in guiding our products from conception to launch, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

*Please note that this is a full-time role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Product Manager, you will:

  • Identify new enhancement opportunities, define business and technical requirements, and partner with software engineering teams to develop, test, and execute plans. 
  • Lead design and development efforts by conveying a vision to the team, outlining requirements in a product backlog, and prioritize it based on business value.. 
  • Dive deep into the data, becoming a subject matter authority in our key performance indicators. 
  • Develop a solid understanding of the team’s existing technical implementations and operational processes, and use that knowledge combined with data-driven insights to create informed requirements for new customer-facing features, product enhancements, and improvements.
  • Establish strong working relationships with engineering teams, designers, and business partners across the company. It’s critical that you be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to both software developers and non-developers / business partners. 
  • Plan and implement data-gathering activities to ensure the product is meeting customer and business needs. 
  • Be able to handle complex, sensitive and fast changing assignments.
  • Investigate, test, and deliver new technical solutions



REQUIREMENTS

Minimum

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an individual contributor product manager, with a proven track record of delivering value and viable solutions.
  • Deep understanding of modern product discovery and delivery techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative and constructive relationships at all levels
  • A strong technical background, preferably with hands-on coding experience (Python/Java) as well as deep experience with agile and scrum methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of the technical architecture of platforms, the role of API integrations, and the utilisation of SaaS tools within a company.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and coordination skills.
  • The ability to clearly communicate requirements, balance risk and hold stakeholders accountable to delivery deadlines.

 

Preferred 

  • University degree preferred.
  • Previous startup and EdTech experience is a plus, especially with a focus on developer education.
  • Experience with LLM or Generative AI
  • Previous experience with Video Game Technology
