Position Description
Designers are responsible for supporting the concept, design, and production of a wide range of creative deliverables across brand identity, marketing materials (print and digital), web content, social media, and campaign assets. In this role, Designers work closely with Mid-weight and Senior Designers, learning how strategic ideas are translated into thoughtful visual solutions while continuing to build foundational creative and technical skills.
Designers are developing an understanding of how brands communicate across modern platforms and media formats. They are expected to contribute to projects with curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, while building confidence in their creative problem-solving and execution abilities.
In a collaborative environment that values flexibility and teamwork, Designers support project teams in delivering high-quality creative work that aligns with client goals and brand standards. They work alongside Strategy and senior creative team members to help bring ideas to life through strong visual communication, thoughtful design execution, and a commitment to continuous growth.
Overview of Role
- Translate strategic objectives into compelling visual solutions that align with brand identity
- Support the development of visual solutions that align with brand identity, strategic direction, and project goals.
- Contribute creative ideas and participate in collaborative brainstorming and design discussions.
- Assist in the design and production of deliverables across digital, print, social, and web platforms.
- Manage assigned tasks and timelines while maintaining attention to detail and design quality.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, strategists, and cross-functional teams to support integrated creative work.
- Continue building presentation and communication skills by participating in internal reviews and team critiques.
- Stay curious and engaged with evolving design trends, tools, and creative best practices.
- Support brand consistency by applying established visual guidelines across deliverables.
- Learn internal workflows, file organization standards, and project processes to support efficient collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities
- Successfully lead and execute design engagements at a high conceptual and executional level across a variety of client scales and media types with minimal guidance
- Support the concept, design, and production of creative work across branding, marketing materials, social media, digital campaigns, presentations, and web content.
- Translate direction and feedback from senior team members into polished visual executions.
- Explore creative concepts and contribute design ideas throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and account teams to help develop cohesive visual communications.
- Prepare production-ready files for print and digital applications with attention to detail and organization.
- Participate in internal design critiques and continue developing the ability to articulate design rationale and creative thinking.
- Assist with presentation materials, mockups, and creative reviews as needed.
- Maintain consistency across deliverables by following established brand guidelines and systems.
- Support smooth project workflows through strong organization, time management, and file management practices.
- Continue learning new tools, technologies, and workflows—including AI-assisted creative tools—to expand creative capabilities.
Experience You will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
- 0–2 years of professional design experience through internships, freelance work, agency experience, or in-house creative teams.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong foundational design skills across branding, digital, print, social media, or campaign work.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma and/or Adobe XD.
- Understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling principles.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn production and execution best practices across print and digital formats.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL·E, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, take feedback constructively, and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Positive, collaborative mindset with curiosity and eagerness to continue growing as a designer.
- Interest in branding, culture, storytelling, and emerging trends across design and digital experiences.
- Ability to work Eastern time zone hours within a distributed or collaborative team environment
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of work across branding, digital, print, social and campaign art direction/desig
- Strong work ethic, leadership, collaboration, problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent planning, time management, and follow-through skills
- Willingness to understand our clients, their industries, our competition and our markets.
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency to partner and brand standards.
