Regulatory Compliance and Licensing Manager

We are looking to hire for one of our ecosystem projects. Our client, a leading digital assets ecosystem globally, is in search of an experienced Regulatory Compliance and Licensing Manager, with strong knowledge in crypto space.
In this role, you will:
- Stay informed on rapidly changing global crypto regulations and provide timely impact analyses to Senior Management.
- Identify jurisdictions favorable to cryptocurrency and oversee licensing applications and registrations across APEC and other regions.
- Leverage experience with regulators in key areas such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Bermuda, Turkey, India, and pan-Europe (including AMF, BaFin, FSMA, etc.).
- Develop and convey licensing strategies, clearly outlining their implications for the business.
- Serve as the primary project manager, collaborating with external consultants and attorneys throughout the licensing process.
- Manage regulatory submissions and respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies.
- Conduct regular compliance audits to ensure business operations adhere to regulations.
- Create, review, and update Compliance Manuals to align with regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement compliance workflows to support business activities.
- Facilitate internal training and update training materials as necessary.
- After licensing, oversee staff dealings and maintain relevant records.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Business, or Law.
- 5 years+ of relevant experience in regulatory compliance or licensing within financial institutions.
- Exceptional project management capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Candidates with additional experience may qualify for the Senior Regulatory Compliance and Licensing Manager position.
- Proficiency in English is a must; fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
