Senior Backend Developer

We are hiring for one of the leading research companies and innovators in blockchain technology in Hong Kong. 

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in backend development activities, contribute to architectural decisions, engage in design processes, conduct thorough design and code reviews, and implement high-quality products.
• Involve yourself in infrastructure-related tasks, such as deploying applications, ensuring smooth operational workflows, and effectively shipping applications to production environments.
• Manage infrastructure and service costs effectively, ensuring solutions are both scalable and cost-efficient.
• Develop and maintain robust backend API servers, microservices, and seamless integrations with third-party services to enhance overall system functionality and architecture.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Golang and/or Node.js; knowledge of Rust is a plus.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with Postgres and Redis is preferred.
• Competent in Linux operations and capable of handling basic tasks independently.
• Passion for learning and a strong interest in blockchain technology and decentralized applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge or experience in WebSocket, Pub/Sub message queues, time series databases, and gRPC is advantageous.
