Backend / Research Engineer (Toolings), Web3 Data Indexing

The Role: 

We are looking for a Backend / Research Engineer to join our innovative team, focusing on developing and enhancing tooling for our high-performance data indexing and visualization platform. Your primary responsibility will be to innovate and implement tools that support our backend systems. 

In this role, you will: 

• Design and develop tools that enhance the efficiency of our data backend systems. 
• Research and prototype new methodologies for data extraction and processing. 
• Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate new tooling solutions into existing systems. 
• Optimize existing tools for performance, scalability, and ease of use. 
• Document and share knowledge to help maintain and evolve our tooling ecosystem.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality implementations. 

You might thrive in this role if you have: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or 
• related field.
• 2+ years of experience in backend development or system tooling. 
• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in Rust being advantageous. 
• Experience with version control systems, CI/CD practices, and container technologies like Docker. 
• Familiarity with data processing and management tools. 
• An inquisitive mind with a passion for continuous learning and problem-solving.
