
Operations Director (Entertainment)
We are hiring for one of our clients. They are a venture group focusing on the intersection of emerging technologies and GenZ consumer trends e.g. wellness, lifestyle, F&B, healthcare and entertainment.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Director (Entertainment) to lead our operational and business development efforts. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of our projects while fostering strong relationships within the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will be well-connected, particularly in the realms of record labels, management companies, and concert promotions, with a deep understanding of the industry's mechanics.
In this role, you will:
Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that align with company goals.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the entertainment sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including record labels, managers, and concert promoters.
Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that drive growth and enhance operational capabilities.
- Analyze market trends and industry developments to inform decision-making.
Project Management
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations and business development within the entertainment industry.
- Extensive network of contacts in record labels, management companies, and concert promotions.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
