Business Development Manager

Singapore

We are hiring for one of our ecosystem projects -  a leading global crypto custodian and we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team and you will be reporting to the Head of BD & Sales in Asia.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the Web3, DeFi, and blockchain ecosystem.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute online and offline events, including industry conferences, meetups, and webinars to engage potential partners and users.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key external stakeholders, including blockchain projects, fintech companies, institutional partners, and industry influencers.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine business strategies and positioning.
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product, and engineering) to align business development strategies with company goals.
  • Represent the company at major Web3 events, networking opportunities, and industry panels to enhance brand presence and attract business prospects.

 

You might thrive in this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related fields.
  • A background in payment companies is required, with some exposure to Web3 clients.
  • Proven track record of generating leads and closing partnerships in the tech or fintech space.
  • Experience in organizing and hosting industry events, both virtual and physical.
  • Proficiency in English, and conversational Mandarin is required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry and work independently with a proactive mindset.
