Blockchain Engineer – Smart Contract & Protocol Implementation (Fabric)

United States

About the Role:

We're looking for a practical and capable Blockchain Engineer to join our team and help build Fabric, a decentralized application designed for robotics communication. You'll be responsible for implementing smart contracts and core blockchain components such as slashing, rewards, and staking mechanisms.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building real-world systems, understand blockchain incentives, and want to see their code running in production. You'll be working in a small, focused team laying the foundation for a decentralized internet application.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement smart contracts in Solidity for staking, slashing, and reward distribution.
  • Deploy and maintain EVM-compatible smart contracts, ensuring they are efficient, testable, and secure.
  • Write backend logic in Golang that interacts with the blockchain to manage on-chain state and off-chain reporting.
  • Develop core blockchain components in Fabric, working closely with other engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Solidity and deploying EVM smart contracts.
  • Proficiency in Golang and developing production-grade backend services.
  • Familiarity with decentralized networks and mechanisms such as staking, rewards, and slashing.
  • Ability to work independently on open-ended problems and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to security best practices and contract reliability.
