Head of Marketing

We are working with a decentralised exchange which looks to innovate on providing the best of CEXs and DEXs, focusing on building a safe, simple and scalable platform for trading. They differentiate themselves by offering institutional level systems and support whilst remaining on-chain and decentralised.
We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Marketing for leading the end-to-end marketing efforts from brand building, user acquisition to social media and product marketing. You will be the pioneer to build up the marketing team from scratch and develop full-funnel strategies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and execute a unified marketing strategy that covers user acquisition, thought leadership, and partner marketing across all channels.
- Collaborate with GTM and cross-functional teams—including business development, sales, PR, product, creative, and design—to align objectives and deliver cohesive regional strategies at the market level.
- Work closely with data, product, creative, and design teams to refine conversion funnels and enhance user journeys.
- Lead go-to-market initiatives for new product launches, feature rollouts, and regional campaigns.
- Develop and scale integrated marketing programs, including multi-channel campaigns, influencer partnerships, and brand activations in key markets.
- Localize and implement global marketing priorities, ensuring programs are tailored for market relevance and drive tangible results.
- Manage and optimize marketing budgets to maximize ROI across channels.
- Leverage customer insights and preferences to shape strategies for various user segments.
- Own key marketing metrics, including traffic, engagement, activation, CAC, LTV, and more.
- Oversee lifecycle and performance marketing, covering paid media, SEO, email, and CRM activities.
What we’re looking for:
- 9+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles at high-growth tech or fintech startups
- Proven track record of driving integrated marketing strategies across diverse audiences and channels
- Extensive expertise in performance marketing, product positioning, and go-to-market execution
- Strong analytical skills with experience in funnel optimization, cohort analysis, and CAC/LTV modeling
- Excellent storyteller with a solid understanding of PR, narrative development, and ecosystem engagement
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with creative and design functions
- Experience managing local agencies, production vendors, and regional partners
- Bonus: Familiarity with the Web3 and crypto ecosystem and its regional applications
