Role Overview

We are seeking dynamic and self-motivated Research Interns to join our team on a part-time basis. As an intern, you will help expand our reach by contacting academic professors, researchers, and institutions to promote and onboard them onto the Peira Network platform. This role blends social science research, outreach, and sales, providing a unique opportunity to hone communication and academic engagement skills while contributing to a mission-driven, innovative company.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Lead Generation:

● Conduct research on social science topics, including behavioral studies, survey methodologies, and emerging trends in academic research, to support platform development and outreach strategies.

● Investigate potential academic partners, including universities, research institutes, and individual researchers in social sciences or related fields.

● Analyze academic publications, grant programs, or research trends to identify opportunities for platform adoption and enhance Peira’s value proposition.

● Maintain a database of leads, tracking outreach efforts and engagement progress.

Networking & Outreach:

● Leverage your academic connections to identify and contact professors, researchers, and academic institutions who could benefit from Peira’s platform.

● Represent Peira Network at virtual or in-person academic events, webinars, or conferences to promote the platform.

Collaboration & Reporting:

● Work closely with Peira’s marketing and product teams to align outreach strategies with company objectives.

● Provide regular updates on outreach efforts, lead progress, and research findings via team meetings or reports.Qualifications

● Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, ideally in social sciences, psychology, business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

● Strong interest in academic research, particularly in social sciences, blockchain technology, or decentralized platforms.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging professors and academic professionals.

● Basic research skills, with experience using academic databases, LinkedIn, or similar tools for lead generation and social science research.

● Familiarity with sales or outreach processes is a plus but not required.

● Access to an academic network (e.g., professors, research groups, or university contacts) is highly desirable.

● Ability to commit to 10 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours or transition to full-time by mutual agreement.
