Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join their growing team. As the first dedicated QA hire, you’ll be responsible for building and scaling their QA processes from the ground up. You’ll work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure the applications are thoroughly tested and production-ready.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement comprehensive test plans for Web3 applications, smart contracts, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Automate tests using frameworks compatible with smart contracts and web apps
• Manually test new features, edge cases, and regression scenarios in early-stage builds.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing.
• Monitor, track, and report bugs, performance issues, and QA metrics.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to reproduce bugs and validate fixes.
• Champion best practices in quality assurance across the team.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in software QA or test automation.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and test frameworks like Mocha, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with smart contract development and testing tools (Hardhat, Foundry, etc.) would be a plus.
• Ability to write and maintain automated test suites.
• Understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Familiarity with Web3 user behavior and wallet interactions (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) would be a plus.
• Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
