Software Engineer - Blockchain _ Solidity

About the Role

We are currently partnered with a promising blockchain network who are looking to build real web3 solutions for real businesses, the team is currently seeking a on-site Software Engineer to join a team working tokenizing real-world assets (RWA). You’ll contribute to innovative DeFi solutions that connect traditional online commerce with blockchain technology, guided by seasoned engineers who will support your growth in Web3 development.

Key Responsibilities

System Development (With Guidance)

● Smart Contract Validation: Develop and execute tests for token-based contracts and profit-sharing mechanisms.

● API Connectivity: Assist in building and maintaining integrations with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways.

● User Interface Design: Build front-end interfaces for users to track profits and market data.

● Data Handling: Write scripts to process and verify data streams from online commerce platforms.

 

DeFi System Support

● Liquidity Management: Oversee and enhance token-to-stablecoin trading pools.

● Performance Tracking: Create tools and notifications to monitor system health and activity.

● Documentation: Produce technical manuals and user guides for the ecosystem.

● Issue Resolution: Debug and fix problems in existing smart contracts and web-based applications.

Required Qualifications

Essential Skills

● 1-3 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in web3 or related environments.

● Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or equivalent.

● Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.

● Experience with web development frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or similar.

● Knowledge of REST API integration.

● Competence with version control systems like Git.

 

Preferred Skills:

● Familiarity with Solidity or a desire to learn smart contract programming.

● Interest in DeFi, including knowledge of tokens, trading platforms, and liquidity pools.

● Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

● Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or similar.

● Interest in financial technology or academic background in finance/economics.

● Experience with unit and integration testing.

● Contributions to open-source projects or personal blockchain initiatives.

 

Technology Stack

● Blockchain: Solidity, Hardhat, OpenZeppelin, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain.

● Backend: Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis.

● Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes.

● Monitoring: The Graph, Tenderly, custom analytics tools.

● Security: Slither, MythX, formal verification systems.

● Previous experiences integrating payment or ecommerce with web3 technologies
