Senior Software Engineer

We are hiring for one of our ecosystem projects. The company is a cutting-edge venture studio at the forefront of AI-powered media production. They're reshaping the media landscape by merging human creativity with artificial intelligence to create stunning 2D/3D illustrations, innovative storytelling, cutting-edge animations, and groundbreaking AI movies. Their mission is to push the boundaries of creative expression through AI-powered media production.

They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to spearhead the development of their AI SaaS platform. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll architect, build, and scale our core product while mentoring and leading a talented engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a small engineering team in developing and maintaining their AI SaaS platform
• Architect and implement scalable React.js frontend applications with exceptional user experiences
• Design and build robust backend services and APIs using modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Integrate and optimize AI-powered features using OpenAI, Openrouter, and other leading AI APIs
• Implement and manage MongoDB databases with focus on performance and scalability
• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on Digital Ocean with high availability
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and business stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with proven leadership track record
• Expert-level proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem
• Extensive hands-on experience with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Hosting)
• Deep knowledge of MongoDB including schema design, indexing, and performance optimization
• Proven experience with Digital Ocean cloud infrastructure, deployment, and DevOps practices
• Passionate about AI technologies and building innovative generative AI solutions

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of WebRTC, real-time communications, or advanced chat application development
• Previous experience in fast-growing startup environments or SaaS companies
