Position Overview:  

Hypori is seeking highly motivated and driven individuals to join our Sales Development Representative (SDR) Internship Program. This internship provides hands-on experience in B2B sales, prospecting, and pipeline development within the tech industry. As an SDR Intern, you will play a critical role in identifying and engaging potential customers, contributing to the company’s growth while gaining invaluable sales and business development experience. 

This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in a career in sales, marketing, or business development to gain practical skills, professional mentorship, and the potential to transition into a full-time role. This position is hybrid, with the expectation of 3 days in our Reston, VA office and 2 days remote.  

Responsibilities: 

Lead Generation & Outreach 

  • Conduct research to identify potential customers and key decision-makers within target industries. 
  • Utilize email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and other outreach methods to engage prospects. 
  • Qualify leads and set up discovery meetings for the sales team. 
  • Maintain and update customer information within the CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). 

Sales Support & Collaboration 

  • Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to develop and refine outreach strategies. 
  • Assist in crafting personalized messaging to improve engagement rates. 
  • Track outreach metrics and provide insights on campaign effectiveness. 

Market Research & Strategy 

  • Analyze industry trends, competitors, and potential sales opportunities. 
  • Gather insights from customer interactions to improve messaging and targeting. 
  • Contribute ideas to optimize sales strategies and processes. 

Training & Professional Development 

  • Receive hands-on training in sales methodologies, prospecting techniques, and CRM tools. 
  • Participate in sales team meetings, coaching sessions, and workshops to enhance skills. 
  • Gain exposure to real-world B2B tech sales processes and career pathways in sales. 

 Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree/degree pursual. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage prospects effectively. 
  • Interest in technology, sales, and customer engagement. 
  • Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus but not required. 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
