IT Support Specialist (On-Site)

Overview: The IT Support Specialist will provide hands-on desktop and end-user support for Hypori, Inc. employees, keeping laptops, accounts, peripherals, and office technology running smoothly. Working onsite in our Austin office under the direction of the IT System Administrator, this role resolves day-to-day technical issues and assists with routine administration of our corporate IT systems. This is a junior-level technical position for someone with 1–2 years of experience, offering professional growth while ensuring that our corporate enterprise empowers our employees to work effectively and efficiently. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support processes and systems for asset inventory and management for hardware, software, and subscription services
  • Support IT projects to completion with direction from the IT System Administrator
  • Support issuing new computer hardware and disposition of end-of-life equipment
  • Support employees through the Jira and Confluence system for problem resolution, documenting tickets and contributing to knowledge base articles
  • Support IT requirements through direct employee and guest support within the physical office location
  • Support conference room and video teleconference setup and troubleshooting as required 
  • Perform other related duties as required and identified in goals set by the CSO

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or IT Support role.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS hardware and software; working knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and MDM solutions (Jamf, Intune, NinjaOne, etc.).
  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS applications (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong English communication skills: the ability to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical users
  • Experience with a standardized ticketing system and documenting work tickets is preferred
  • CompTIA A+ Certification is required
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification is required
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 40 lbs

Compensation: The anticipated base salary for this position is $65,000–$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Position of Trust: Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a personal security investigation and must be a US citizen.

Location: Austin, TX. This is an in-office position 5 days a week.
