About The Role
As an IT License & Commercial Manager in our brand new Regional Hub / Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur, you will have the opportunity to play a role in managing IT budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting. The role ensures software license compliance, improves financial processes, and supports automation.
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- IT cost accounting: You are responsible for the IT cost accounting processes (budget, forecast, actual costs controlling) incl. periodic reporting to management
- Standards & training: You will define IT cost accounting standards, train employees in IT on correct usage of accounting / planning tools and control the quality of financial data
- Innovation: You are responsible to improve the financial processes and drive automation
- Analytics: You establish the standards for reporting of IT financials and implement the required dashboards
- Compliance: You ensure that our key contracts are used in a license compliant way
In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders across the business including our Global functions teams in Germany, Netherlands & other parts of the world.
Our Regional Hub supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.
You will be joining a newly formed Shared Services Centre team, with opportunities to grow, within PMO & Planning or wider Global IT team.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Degree in business administration or similar academic background, alternatively comparable experience
- Several years of practical experience in an IT commercial / controller position
- Experience with IT service management based on ITIL
- Experience with MS Office tools, esp. MS Excel and PowerPoint
Language
- Good written and spoken English is essential
- Proficiency in Deutsch is an added advantage, however not mandatory
