OIC Interface Developer

Gaithersburg, MD

At i360technologies, we deliver business consulting and technology solutions that support the mission of federal agencies. We are hiring two Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Interface Developers to help a major federal agency modernize how it manages money. This is a one-of-a-kind, 10-year financial management transformation, replacing legacy systems with a modern cloud platform used across the agency.

You'll build and support the integrations that connect the agency's new core financial system with agency and external systems. If you're early in your career, learn fast, and want to grow on a program of this size, this role is built for you.

Why AI Matters Here

AI is central to how this team delivers. We want developers who already use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to learn new platforms quickly, write and debug integrations, build mappings, and document their work. Be ready to show us how you've used AI to close a knowledge gap and get real results.

What You Will Do

  • Design, build, and deploy OIC integrations.
  • Develop REST and SOAP integrations.
  • Build scheduled and application-driven integrations.
  • Develop transformations and mappings.
  • Implement file- and SFTP-based interfaces.
  • Integrate Oracle Fusion ERP with external applications.
  • Implement fault handling, notifications, and recovery processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot OIC integrations.
  • Support reconciliation and interface-control requirements.
  • Write technical specifications and interface documentation.
  • Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of integration development experience.
  • Knowledge of or hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion ERP integrations.
  • Working knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and XSLT.
  • Familiarity with FBDI and BI Publisher (BIP) integration patterns.
  • Experience with SFTP and file-based integrations.
  • Strong debugging and error-handling skills.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to learn new technologies and accelerate delivery.

Preferred Experience

  • OCI or Autonomous Database (ATP) exposure.
  • Any exposure to federal financial systems or federal IT projects.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud certification, or progress toward it.

What You'll Gain

  • Hands-on experience on a decade-long federal modernization program.
  • Mentorship from senior Oracle and federal financial management specialists.
  • A career path that grows with the program: more scope, more responsibility, more expertise each year.
  • In-demand skills in Oracle Integration Cloud and AI-enabled delivery.

What Success Looks Like

  • OIC integrations are built, deployed, and documented on schedule with minimal rework.
  • Integration faults are caught, recovered, and resolved quickly, with clean reconciliation.
  • You ramp up fast on OIC and Oracle Fusion, using AI to accelerate learning, and take on more scope over time.

Security & Eligibility Requirements

  • S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency with a minimum of three (3) years of U.S. residency
