What We’re Looking For
- A true builder who has previously been an early HR hire for a startup where you had to design, implement and maintain new people infrastructure tools, systems, processes and policies from recruiting, to onboarding, compensation, performance management and development.
- You enjoy being the go-to HR team of one, building while you execute and act as business partner for employees at all levels and from all functions
In This Role, You Will
- Be the go-to HR resource for all iAltA holdings employees, with strategic and some operational support from New Fashioned and other support
- Build and drive efficient HR processes, systems, performance and engagement initiatives (
- Implement and/or integrate HR tools (e.g. HRIS, payroll etc)
- Maintain employee records and HRIS systems with up-to-date information
- Lead employee relations matters, including performance, policy questions, leave administration
- Lead the onboarding of new employees, ensuring payroll and benefits enrollment are seamless
- Manage benefits administration including open enrollment, employee questions, and vendor selection/coordination
- Collaborate with finance to support payroll, reporting, audits, and compliance
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to build and implement HR processes and systems with little direction (including onboarding, offboarding, compensation, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, benefits vendor research and selection)
- Previously implemented and/or integrated HR tools and systems - HRIS, ATS and payroll systems such as ADP, Deel, JustWorks, Greenhouse
- Prior experience acting as a trusted HR business partner to executives handling employee relations, job scoping, performance reviews etc.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong project management, organizational and communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information
- Eagerness to take on new responsibilities and learn across HR functions
- Ability to work onsite at corporate headquarters four days a week (270 Madison Ave. NY, NY)

- Competitive salary range: Base salary up to $150,000 based on experience
