Project Manager

Job Overview: IANS is seeking a Project Manager to join its Project Delivery team. Reporting to the Manager of Consulting Project Delivery, you will be responsible for scoping and managing multiple projects concurrently in support of the organization’s annual bookings & revenue goals.
This role will work closely with IANS’ Account Management team and network of Faculty partners, and clients.
Requires minimum of 2 days a week on site at Government Center Office, Boston, MA
Key Responsibilities:
PROJECT DELIVERY
- Scope, manage, and deliver a diverse portfolio of up to 20 projects and 45+ opportunities simultaneously in order to support IANS’ business and meet quarterly revenue and bookings targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of our Consulting offerings and Sales processes in order to effectively participate in, and lead, client calls. Seek feedback from clients to assess engagement experience and satisfaction levels and take corrective action as needed.
- Build partnerships with key Faculty to enhance the quality and impact of IANS’ consulting projects.
- Perform other duties as required.
FORECASTING AND REVENUE RECOGNITION
- Ensure accurate and effective forecasting of individual consulting revenue on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the engagement lifecycle by providing timely and accurate communication to relevant stakeholders.
TEAM ALIGNMENT
- Serve as an internal SME for project delivery for a specific Sales territory.
Qualifications:
- Location: This will be a hybrid role that requires being onsite at IANS’ Boston office a minimum of 2 days per week. Willingness to travel for client visits or presentations as needed is required (<5% of time).
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience: Proven track record (3+ years) in project management. Experience in IT / Cybersecurity preferred but not required. An ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results is required.
- Superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills: Capable of delivering executive-level presentations and communications while also engaging in technical discussions with clients and Faculty.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills: This role will require flexibility and the ability to think critically about client and company needs in order to meet deadlines and accelerate timelines.
- Team player:Proven track record of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members.
- Self-Starter:Ability to take initiative, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must have the drive to identify opportunities and create solutions without constant direction.
