Market Data Operations Analyst
We seek a detail-oriented Market Data Operations Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our market data infrastructure, focusing on subscriber classification, invoice management, cost control, and vendor communication.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Subscriber Classification: Research and accurately classify market data subscribers using online tools and resources, ensuring correct assignment for billing and compliance purposes.
- Invoice Management: Reconcile and process market data invoices, ensuring timely and accurate matching with contracts and variable volumes.
- Client Support: Provide accurate and timely client support, resolving market data-related issues and providing status updates effectively.
- Vendor Reporting: Accurately report usage numbers to market data vendors, adhering to contractual agreements and timelines.
- Cost Control: Organize and maintain an accurate accounting of market data costs, identifying potential areas for savings and optimization.
- Process Improvement: Participate in projects and initiatives to streamline market data operations, enhancing efficiency and service quality.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain clear documentation on market data processes, usage guidelines, and subscriber information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher with a major or concentration in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or similar
- 2+ years of experience, preferably with some exposure to market data operations
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong team player and ability to collaborate across teams and with external vendors
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of JIRA issue tracking and Confluence collaboration tools (desirable)
- Financial Information Associate and FISD Data Licensing (desirable)
