Job Description and Responsibilities
Interactive Brokers seeks an experienced and results-oriented Enhanced Due Diligence Operations Manager in Mumbai. The ideal candidates will deeply understand regulatory requirements, risk assessment methodologies, and industry best practices. The role will be instrumental in ensuring the firm’s compliance with BSA/AML/CTF regulations and mitigating risk exposure.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of EDD analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of EDD reviews and risk assessment.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of high-risk clients and transactions, identifying potential red flags and escalating issues as necessary.
- Oversee the EDD process for new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare regular reports on EDD activities, key findings, and risk assessments for management.
- Identify opportunities to streamline the EDD process and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have operational and regulatory compliance experience working for an exchange, regulatory body, large financial institution or similar organization. To thrive and succeed in this work environment, candidates must be focused, adaptable, collaborative and have strong time management skills.
- 7-10 years of experience in financial services, focusing on AML/CTF in EDD.
- High degree of comfort and fluency with computers and technology and understanding of how technology is applied to business and regulatory problems
- Excellent communication as well as analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and autonomously, as well as in a team environment
Preferred qualifications:
- 7-10 years of operational management experience
- Professional certification or licenses such as CAMS, CFE, ICA, or other FINRA licenses.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, M.S. in Finance, LLM, etc).
