Job Description
Interactive Brokers has been at the forefront of Fintech for over 42 years. To achieve that, we seek to actively understand and prudently manage our Firmwide risk profile in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- RADAR ownership and maintenance
- Building of risk reports and dashboards
- Oversight and analysis of financial risk-related information – credit, liquidity, market and capital
- Daily monitoring of financial risk exposures in various parts of the company's businesses
- Identifying and reporting on key financial risks, trends and emerging risks facing the organization.
- Ad hoc risk-related projects and reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in financial services or related industry
- Understanding of Risk Management and reporting – financial or non-financial – with an understanding of how risk analytics conclusions are presented to support effective decision-making
- Ability to assimilate, distill and analyze disparate data sets (structures, sources, formats, code, etc.) to support critical analysis and reach actionable conclusions
- Data analytics background, ideally related to risk management – qualifications in data management, administration, and analytics are required.
- Familiarity with maintaining, configuring and using Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools – knowledge of Service Now as a GRC tool is a bonus
- Experience in taking big data and building user dashboards for analysis and interrogation using data visualization and business intelligence solutions software – Tableau preferred
- Ability to take business requirements, translate them into accurate functional specifications and deliver accurate and user-friendly data solutions
