Position

We seek a skilled developer to create, maintain, and support custom automated reports and analytics to drive strategic decision-making in our Marketing and Sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, scripting languages, and database management, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and support custom automated reports and analytics for management using Perl/Python and Oracle SQL.
  • Design and implement efficient, scalable data pipelines for marketing and sales data.
  • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to understand their data and reporting needs and provide innovative solutions.
  • Optimize existing reports and processes for better performance and accuracy.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of marketing technology tools.
  • Contribute to other technical projects within the Marketing and Sales Department as needed.

 

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience producing automated and scheduled reports and analytics using technical tools.
  • Proficiency in Perl and/or Python programming languages.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with Oracle databases.
  • Understanding of Linux/UNIX environments, shell scripts and command-line operations.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms, particularly Google Analytics, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS (S3, Athena) and Google BigQuery is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with financial markets or the brokerage industry.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and metrics.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), scheduling tools (e.g., Cron), and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Excel).
  • Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
