This is a hybrid role (3 days in office / 2 days remote).
About your team:
The person will support market-making activities across stocks, forex, futures, and options, with the group’s current focus being on the binary options offered on the ForecastEx exchange. The support involves coding tools for the estimation of pricing parameters and tools to enable the market-making systems to be monitored and controlled. The support systems are primarily written in Python running under Linux, along with some web-based interfaces.
Which skills are required:
- Python
- Data analysis using Python libraries (e.g., Pandas, Statsci)
- Linux shell
Desirable skills:
- C++
- Statistics
- SQL Database
- Integration of AI into automated processing.
Qualifications:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject (e.g., a science, economics, or engineering degree, with math, physics, or computer science preferred). A master’s or PhD degree would be a plus.
- Securities registration, especially Series 57 or equivalent. The applicant doesn’t need to be currently registered, but will be expected to study for and pass the appropriate exams to become registered once employed.
