This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office / 2 days remote).
About your team:
This senior vendor management role reports to the Sr. Director of IT Procurement and Vendor Management. The position requires an experienced individual who will:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, legal, enterprise risk, audit, compliance and other key IBKR stakeholders globally.
- Guide vendors through robust risk assessments and due diligence processes for existing ICT 3rd party service providers.
- Implementing robust contractual arrangements that address security, performance, and continuity requirements.
- Establishing effective monitoring, scorecards and oversight mechanisms for ICT 3rd party service providers (TPSP).
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong experience with critical and strategic vendor relationship management and drive measurable improvements across the vendor management landscape.
What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:
- Develop and implement vendor management strategies and processes.
- Manages all vendor management-related assignments and activities.
- Developing and maintaining incident response and business continuity plans.
- Ensuring regular testing and updating of these plans to address evolving ICT TPSP risks and threats.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to build reporting requirements and automate in procurement and vendor management systems.
- Drive DORA addendum execution and compliance.
- Guide cross-functional teams through the procurement and vendor management process.
- Ensure alignment with category leaders on sourcing/procurement strategy.
- Leads the development and implementation of multiple complex and cross-region supplier performance scorecards.
- Monitor vendor performance against contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensures that business expectations and global and regional regulatory/compliance requirements are met.
- Solid understanding of Responsible Sourcing, Contract Management, Category Management, Diverse Supply Base, 3rd Party Risk Mgmt. and Regional Compliance requirements, etc.
- Experienced and comfortable using Source to Pay systems.
- Reporting and Analytics – Able to develop complex dashboards and release monthly reports.
Which skills are required:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience: 10-15 years of professional experience in vendor management.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex strategic initiatives with multi-million-dollar values, tight deadlines, and significant risk factors.
- Methodical Approach: Proven track record applying structured strategic vendor management methodologies successfully.
- Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation abilities with demonstrated capacity to influence executive stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Business Acumen: Strong organizational awareness with sound judgment in planning and decision-making processes.
- Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Stakeholder Management: Proactive and collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional internal client engagements.
- Analytical Thinking: Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, particularly in translating spend/supplier data into effective sourcing strategies.
