About The Role

iCapital’s business is growing rapidly, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate/Assistant Vice-President to join our Quality Control / Platform Operations Support team in Lisbon. This role will be integral to ensuring high operational standards and accurate process execution, particularly in the launch

and maintenance of alternative investment products on the iCapital platform. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a newly established Quality Control Sub-Team responsible for monitoring and verifying the accuracy of our processes, with a primary focus on supporting alternative

investment products. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to make an impact on quality standards within platform operations, especially within the alternative product space.

 

Responsibilities:

 

As an Associate/Assistant Vice-President – Quality Control team / Operations Platform Support, you will be supporting multiple projects and tasks concurrently. This may include:

 

  • Conduct comprehensive quality checks on operational processes within the Operations Support team, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards.
  • Execute daily and periodic process reviews, focusing on product launches, transaction processing, client support activities, and platform updates related to alternative products.
  • Generate and maintain clear, structured reports documenting quality control activities, errors identified, and corrective actions taken.
  • Quickly identify discrepancies, errors, or deviations in process execution, working closely with team members to address and resolve these issues effectively.
  • Support ongoing improvements by providing feedback on process gaps and recommending solutions. Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Operations Support, Product, Technology, and Client Service teams to ensure seamless product launches and process alignment.
  • Aid in the training and development of team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Academic and/or professional qualification: B.Sc in Finance, Computer, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality control, operations, or financial services, with a preference for experience in alternative investments or banking operations.
  • Knowledge of operational processes, particularly related to alternative investment platforms, is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical expertise including comfort with spreadsheets, business intelligence tools and an understanding of databases (experience with SQL is a plus)
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global environment, coordinating across different time zones.
  • Highly organized, with an aptitude for identifying patterns and inconsistencies.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in suggesting and implementing improvements.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office three days, with the flexibility to work remotely two days.  Every department has different needs, and some positions will be designated in-office jobs, based on their function.
