About the role:
The Fund Monitoring and Governance teams oversee iCapital’s private access funds across asset classes, including private equity, private credit, and real assets. The Fund Monitoring team manages the investment monitoring of private markets portfolios, while the Governance team reviews, evaluates, and approves specific actions for the private access funds. This internship involves assisting both teams with various projects.
- Monitor feeder and underlying fund performance across our private equity, private credit, and real asset offerings.
- Prepare clear and concise call summaries and talking points.
- Conduct performance analytics and fund-level financial modeling.
- Keep track of broader macro thoughts and trends through interactions with our fund managers.
- Maintain and update our internal Confluence fund monitoring database.
- Track corporate actions and requests from underlying funds.
- Coordinate investor communications for certain corporate actions and requests.
- Manage agenda items for weekly Oversight Committee meetings.
- Assist with secondary sales of assets within feeder funds, including analyses of funds and pricing.
Valued qualities and key skills:
- Inquisitive, collaborative, and proficient in problem-solving with a strong interest or foundational knowledge in financial markets
- Able to perform well in fast-paced environments, adaptable to new responsibilities, and capable of managing competing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) with experience or coursework in financial analysis and modeling; understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, peer comps, etc.) is a plus
- Possess foundational knowledge of financial markets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional attitude, and willingness to work in dynamic entrepreneurial settings
- Capable of handling multiple tasks, prioritizing assignments, and operating with a project management mindset
- Interest in learning about the alternative investment landscape

Eligibility:
- A rising junior or senior in a U.S. college/university bachelor’s degree program
- Committed to working five days a week in the New York City office for the entire duration of the internship
- Authorized to work in the United States*

Pay Rate: $41.00/hour + relocation stipend and transportation stipend
