About the Role
The Mac Experience Administrator, based in Hong Kong, will provide frontline support across APAC locations, focusing on Apple endpoint management and engineering. This role focuses on troubleshooting and resolving endpoint issues, workstation setup, JAMF administration, and system integration tasks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key in maintaining and enhancing our technological infrastructure, supporting daily operations and driving Corporate Technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 1 & 2 support for Mac platform administration (software, hardware, configuration) and JAMF, diagnosing and resolving technical incidents while coordinating with Corporate Technology teams or third parties as needed.
- Endpoint Management: Install, configure, and support Mac and iPad endpoints, including onboarding, software upgrades, hardware setup, and system troubleshooting for remote and on-site users.
- System Administration: Manage and maintain macOS, iOS, JAMF, and related system-level components, ensuring smooth operation and integration.
- Workstation Deployment: Set up and configure workstations, applications, and peripherals across office locations.
- Documentation: Create and update comprehensive knowledge base articles, self-service guides, and system configuration records.
- SLA Compliance: Define and meet service level agreements aligned with current and future workload demands.
- Innovation: Independently research and deploy business and technical solutions based on internal customer needs, integrating them into production systems.
- Productivity Enhancement: Collaborate with IT leadership to propose and implement new services, including AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Adobe AI), to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred certifications: Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), JAMF Certified Administrator (JAMF 300), or similar.
- 3–5 years of experience in macOS systems management, JAMF administration, and SaaS applications (e.g., Okta, productivity/collaboration toolsets).
- Proven expertise in macOS/iOS troubleshooting, deployment, and support.
- Proficiency in programming languages and shell scripting (e.g., sh, bash, python, swift) in Unix-based environments.
- Experience with Azure, SSO integrations, and identity provisioning workflows.
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Freshservice) for ticket tracking and resolution.
- Solid understanding of Mac OS internals, peripherals, and system integration.
- Knowledge of networking (e.g., LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN) and experience with on-premises IT infrastructure to ensure seamless office operations.
