Account Manager- Associate

About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire an Associate Account Manager to support and grow relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients. This individual will play a key role in maintaining overall client health, driving platform adoption, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring clients maximize the value of iCapital's solutions through proactive engagement, training, and ongoing relationship management. This individual will serve as a trusted day-to-day partner to clients while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class client experience. This role will manage client relationships, coordinate resources across teams, identify opportunities for growth and expansion, and support the successful execution of strategic account plans.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with assigned client accounts and serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day client engagement.
  • Develop and execute account plans designed to improve client satisfaction, product utilization, relationship strength, retention, and overall account health.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, business reviews, and proactive outreach to maintain strong working relationships and understand evolving business priorities.
  • Analyze client health, platform adoption, business objectives, and utilization trends to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing guidance on best practices, operational efficiencies, and strategic initiatives that support successful client outcomes.
  • Lead platform onboarding, implementation support, training, and adoption efforts to maximize client engagement and utilization.
  • Monitor account health and proactively identify risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support client retention and growth initiatives by identifying expansion opportunities and partnering with Sales and Strategic Account Management teams as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and communicate on escalated client issues while partnering with Product, Client Delivery, Production Support, and other internal teams to drive successful resolution.
  • Track client priorities, strategic initiatives, enhancement requests, and action items to ensure visibility and progress.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by communicating client feedback, business needs, operational challenges, and product enhancement opportunities internally.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships across Product, Client Delivery, Production Support, Finance, Sales, and Leadership teams to support client success.
  • Support renewal and commercial discussions through coordination, stakeholder management, follow-up activities, and internal alignment.
  • Present and demonstrate company products, capabilities, and solutions when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate account plans, client activity records, and documentation within Salesforce and other approved systems.
  • Keep internal systems and records updated with relevant client notes, activities, and required information.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and client-facing activities to strengthen industry knowledge and professional networks.
  • Complete ad hoc projects and assignments as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in account management, customer success, relationship management, client delivery, consulting, or other client-facing roles
  • Preferred experience within financial services, insurance, InsureTech, FinTech, wealth management, or related industries
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong consultative problem-solving and client service orientation
  • Experience developing and executing account plans and driving client engagement strategies
  • Strong organizational, project management, and coordination capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Able to analyze client health, identify business needs, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Experience collaborating across multiple departments and influencing outcomes without direct authority
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms
  • Able to work independently, proactively, and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, business reviews, conferences, and team events

 

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees in this role will work fully remote. Every department has different needs, and some positions will be designated in-office jobs, based on their function.
