About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire a Senior Content Producer Vice President to join the Communications team. This role serves as a strategic partner, developing content that translates complex market developments, investment strategies, and industry trends into engaging narratives for advisors, institutional investors, and private wealth audiences. This role blends financial expertise, editorial leadership, and storytelling to create high-impact content across video, digital, social, podcast, event, and written channels. The ideal candidate brings strong editorial judgment, a newsroom mindset, and a deep understanding of financial markets and the evolving wealth management landscape. As investors continue to expand beyond traditional stocks and bonds, this individual will help communicate the ideas shaping modern portfolios, including private markets, alternative investments, and other specialized solutions. This individual will play a key role in strengthening iCapital's thought leadership and position as a trusted voice in wealth management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead editorial planning, guest strategy, and content development for flagship franchises, including, The Bridge, original series, special programs, as well as brand and marketing content through execution.
  • Develop content aligned with market trends, investment themes, business priorities, product launches, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Monitor financial markets, industry developments, and news cycles to identify timely content opportunities.
  • Translate complex investment concepts into clear, engaging content across multiple formats and audiences.
  • Research, recruit, and prepare industry leaders, executives, and subject matter experts for content initiatives.
  • Create interview briefs, talking points, scripts, articles, executive communications, and social-first content.
  • Translate long-form financial content into engaging social-first video and promotional content that extends its reach across platforms.
  • Partner with Investment, Production, Creative, Communications, and Marketing teams throughout the content lifecycle.
  • Provide editorial direction from concept through post-production.
  • Support executive thought leadership and content that helps advisors navigate an increasingly sophisticated investment landscape.
  • Maintain a newsroom mindset that balances speed, accuracy, editorial rigor, and business impact.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in financial journalism, investment content, business media, editorial production, wealth management, asset management, or a related field
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, portfolio construction, private markets, alternative investments, and wealth management
  • Proven experience developing editorial programming, booking high-profile guests, and managing executive relationships
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and communication skills
  • Strong editorial judgment and understanding of audience engagement across platforms
  • Demonstrated experience developing and scaling long-form financial content franchises across written, video, podcast, event, and executive thought leadership channels
  • Experience developing social-first video and adapting long-form financial content for YouTube and other digital and social platforms

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
